Having hosted wild birthday parties, American house parties, Indian wedding parties, family Christmases and summer holidays as well as corporate retreats. Clients love the 'Downtonesque' experience (which the butler Matthew and his team play up no end) and the opportunity to breakfast in the wonderful winter gardens.
Somerleyton has twelve charming bedrooms set over two floors, ten of which are en-suite. There is also an additional apartment in the stable yard for extra guests or staff. The old servant bells give each room a name and sense of character which we have allowed to guide us during renovations which we hope adds to the hall's warmth and character.
Home to a two mile long lake, beautiful wildlife and luxury cabin retreats, Fritton Lake is a family run private holiday club in the heart of a pioneering thousand-acre rewilding project.
