In between Malmesbury and Cirencester, just inside the Cotswolds is the village of Crudwell. At the heart of the village sits the striking Rectory Hotel and The Potting Shed Pub. The hotel harks back to the era of country house parties and guests may feel like they are staying in the home of a wealthy relative, experiencing country hospitality, at a decent price.

The hotel has 18 simply but beautifully furnished bedrooms in total – 15 in the main house and 3 in a separate cottage, all with goose down bedding, super-fast wifi and, for those rainy afternoons, a library of favourite films streamed direct.

The restaurant serves classic food with a contemporary edge, presented and served in the elegant dining room and striking glasshouse.

Big Rooms - The most spacious and luxurious bedrooms. Super-king size bed with goose down bedding and crisp cotton sheets, tea and coffee, superfast wifi, Roberts radio, TV with a library of free films.

Medium Rooms - More space than the small rooms, super-king size bed or king size bed with goose down bedding and crisp cotton sheets, tea and coffee, superfast wifi, Roberts radio, TV with a library of free films.

Small Rooms - King size bed with goose down bedding and crisp cotton sheets, tea and coffee facilities, superfast wifi, Roberts radio, TV with a library of free films.

The Cottage - Set within the grounds of The Rectory next to the pool, our 3 bedroom cottage enjoys all the facilities and services of the hotel, plus a lot more. The ideal family home from home or place to relax with friends. Cooking facilities, TV, roll top bath. Book for two nights minimum.

RESTAURANT

The Restaurant - Classic food with a contemporary edge presented and served in the elegant dining room and striking glasshouse. Jackets are definitely not required; make yourselves at home. We offer a separate lunch menu Monday to Saturday and our a la carte dinner throughout the week.

Afternoon tea is also available throughout the week and weekend.

The Pub - The Potting Shed is just over the road, championing outstanding pub food and fine Ales. Made from the finest locally sourced, seasonal ingredients.

The Bar - Serving contemporary and classic cocktails, and those more off-piste, as well as selected beers and a considered wine list focussed on the old world. We welcome hotel guests and non-residents all day. Enjoy food and drinks inside or outside in the gardens.
