Accommodation
The organic farm set in Andalucía is a luxury eco retreat and equestrian center where they breed Lusitano horses. The nine-room cortijo is designed and decorated with the refinement of simplicity, respect for tradition and balanced use of new technologies. It features state-of-the-art facilities such as a natural spring pool, spa and an infinite list of tailored activities, ranging from horse riding to concerts and weddings.
La Donaira is a home away from home. A place of acres where the five senses are developed, cared for and delighted at an altitude of 1,000 metres during the four seasons of the year, due to the pleasant temperatures that are maintained on the estate.
La Donaira prepare our food with organic products grown in our own land. Guests can visit the medicinal garden, get to know the farm and organic gardens during a farm tour; as well as be a farmer for a day, meditate on one of the few bee beds that exist in the world, go trekking, paragliding and cycling. As an alternative one can simply lie in the shade of a 700-year-old oak tree and enjoy the peace and views of the Andalusian pasture.

WELLNESS
Relax, Unwind - Dark stucco walls, steamy warmth and soft light turn our spa into a nurturing cocoon. Succumb to the therapeutic effects of a 46.5 degree hammam, and loosen aching muscles in the Russian wood sauna.
Be Toned, Be Happy - Exercise releases endorphins and positive thoughts, and so will our 21-metre indoor pool with underwater lighting and mountain peak views. Try an aqua gym session, set your own pace, or simply float on your back for a little aqua mindfulness.
Recharge, Re-Energise - Take an invigorating dip in the icy plunge pool or brave the elements with a few laps in our spring-fed outdoor pool.
Be Pummelled, Be Pampered - Massages are designed to sooth, balance and stimulate; choose from aromatherapy, osteopathic, stress-reducing Thai massage and a deep tissue workout.
A wide range of rejuvenating beauty treatments including purifying and firming facials.
Spa products are locally-sourced, artisan-made and organic, based on the wonder-healers of the natural world: sweet almonds and argan oil; lime, rosemary, lavender and avocado.
La Donaira also offers horse riding, yoga & mediation, and exploration of the local area.
RESTAURANT
The food combines natural goodness and sophistication. Home-grown organic field to fork produce is the starting point for healthy and innovative menus.
What is eaten depends on what’s plucked from the huertas each morning and whether it’s the season for figs and plums or almonds and quince. Edible flowers and herbs from the medicinal garden add the finishing touch. Bread is baked and eggs collected fresh every morning. La Donaira make goats’ milk cheese, presses they’re own extra virgin olive oil and collect honey from their mountain hives. What isn’t produced on the farm, is sourced from a local network of artisan producers.
Location
The estate occupies 1500 acres at the top of the Serranía de Ronda, in Andalusia; a rolling terrain ranging from rocky crags and old oaks to olive and almond groves, through green valleys dotted with plantations, organic orchards and a vineyard.
